Biography
As an educator, Rachel looks forward to inspiring the next generation of nurses. She hopes to instill a passion for healthcare and serving the community and to promote health and well-being on a large scale. She has worked with multiple organizations around the New Richmond area. This has helped her understand the needs of the local employers, and the skills that are needed for graduates in the nursing program.
Rachel believes it is her role to not only facilitate an environment that allows students to learn from the facts needed to be a nurse, but also to train in a fashion that creates critical thinkers and nurses who advocate for the patients they serve. Rachel aims to meet each student’s learning style to ensure they get the best out of their time in the classroom.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, watching and attending her children’s events, traveling and being outdoors.
