Biography

Tom Ziburski graduated from three different programs at Northwood Tech (Power Sports Technician, Machine Tool Technician and HVAC/R) and another program at Lake Superior College in the automotive body field. This varied experience provides well-rounded insight into the industrial maintenance field. 

Tom believes that students learn best through hands-on experience and content that is engaging and interesting, a philosophy that comes from his own experience as a student. He was inspired to teach by his own instructors at Northwood Tech, and he hopes he can support his students in a way that his instructors did for him when he was a student.  

In his spare time, Tom loves to spend time outdoors. He enjoys fishing, hiking and camping on remote lakes. He also loves boating, riding recreational vehicles, building and spending time with his family.
