Biography
Before earning a degree in nursing, Anna worked as an educator at the elementary level for about 10 years. Eventually, she decided to pursue nursing, upon which she realized that teaching is a huge part of the nursing field. In her nursing career, she was able to combine her passion for education and nursing by working as a staff educator for the medical and surgical department.
Anna’s mission as an instructor for Northwood Tech’s nursing program is to encourage positive learning, inspire an enthusiasm for learning and to provide a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Anna believes that teaching is a part of who she is at her very core. Over the years, her love for teaching has only grown, and she has discovered that sharing her passion for teaching and learning helps connect learners to their own desire for lifelong learning.
In her spare time, Anna enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, reading, tending to her chickens and walking.
