Biography

I am a Northwood Tech (WITC) Alumni so I am familiar with this nursing program and the college. I have 18 years experience working as an RN. I worked in both the hospital and clinic setting with experience in cardiology, family practice, and internal medicine. I also have experience with the nursing students in the program as I worked with them and other students while in the position of College Health Nurse last school year at the Superior Campus. I was inspired to become a nursing instructor because I wanted to be a part of the process of the education of our future nurses. I am excited to see how the students progress from their first semester to their last when they are ready to get into the working field.

When I am not at work, you will probably find me at the hockey rink, baseball field, lacrosse field or cheer gym watching my children do what they love. I also enjoy reading, taking walks with my dog, Jingles, camping, and spending time with friends and family.
