Biography
Through her education and work experience, Misty Radig knows the ins and outs of the clinical world, patient care and the different roles in a medical setting. This experience provides with her an insight into what is expected of medical assistant and phlebotomist new hires in a clinic.
Misty believes that learning is continuous and hands on, which she applies to her life as well. Misty aims to continue to learn and stay on top of advancements in the medical world so that she can provide her students with accurate and up-to-date information. In the classroom, she utilizes a hands-on approach that allows students to connect with the material. She provides concrete examples of how the lesson applies to the job. Misty’s passion and enthusiasm for learning will shine through in the classroom.
In her spare time, Misty likes to kayak and hike with her two sons and their dogs. She does several types of crafting from sewing to painting to stained glass. Over the past years, Misty has been slowly building and decorating a 1:12 scale dollhouse with functioning lights.
