Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I apply for a job at Northwood Tech? 
    • All applications must be submitted through our online application system. We do not accept resumes or applications via email.  
  • When is the deadline to apply? 
    • Each job posting includes a specific posting close date. Applications must be submitted by that deadline—late submissions are not accepted.
  • What happens after I apply? 
    • After the posting closes, a dedicated recruitment team for that position will review all applications. Candidates who meet the qualifications may be invited for an interview. 
  • Will I be contacted even if I'm not selected? 
    • Yes! All applicants will receive notifications of their status—whether selected for an interview or not.  
  • How will I be contacted? 
    • Candidates should check their email regularly for updates throughout the hiring process. 
  • What if I meet the qualifications but don't get an interview? 
    • Meeting minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview. When we receive a high volume of qualified applications, we must narrow the pool to a manageable number for interviews. 
  • How often should I check for new job openings?

    • If you would like to receive a hard copy of the Annual Security Report which contains this information, you can stop by the Northwood Tech location at 1900 College Drive, Rice Lake, WI, 54868 or you can request that copy be mailed to you by calling 715.645.7041.
    • The report contains information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, law enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, policies related to and programs to prevent sexual assault and other crimes, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus. The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Northwood Tech; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from campus.
