Biography
Danna Livingston-Matherly has a background in criminal justice, predominately community corrections, as well as curriculum and course development. She has a vast array of knowledge with most criminal justice agencies from her work experience. This experience also provides Danna with connections to the industry. These connections allow her to stay informed with the current state of the field.
According to Danna, the criminal justice field is always changing, and thus the program is always adapting and moving with those changes. She is passionate about her role as a mentor and guide to those entering the criminal justice field, and she believes the most important skill for her to teach students is the ability to see the world through more than just your own lens.
In her spare time, Danna runs a wellness retreat. She enjoys doing outdoor activities and spending time with her family. She also does a lot of traveling.
