Biography

My educational and professional background is primarily rooted in emergency medicine, where I have gained experience caring for patients across the lifespan in high-acuity settings. I elected to pursue my Nurse Practitioner degree to further expand my ability to serve and advocate for patients through advanced clinical practice.

Along this journey, I discovered a passion for teaching and mentoring future nurses. I enjoy supporting students as they develop clinical skills, critical thinking, and confidence in their roles as healthcare professionals. I am excited to bring my clinical expertise and enthusiasm for education to Northwood Technical College and to contribute to the success of the next generation of nurses.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. My family and I raise a variety of animals and maintain a large garden. We live on a lake and spend many hours kayaking, swimming, and fishing. If I had to choose a favorite season, I couldn’t... there is something I appreciate about each one.
