Biography

Becki subscribes to the belief that education is a lifelong journey, which the instructors emphasize in the Associate Degree Nursing program. The nursing occupation requires both constant teaching and learning, whether that be teaching and learning from co-workers, patients, the community and one’s own experience. Her experience in the field provided her with the knowledge of fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Becki's teaching philosophy is that each student is different and requires various forms of collaboration. When you begin your educational journey, Becki will be right by your side, and as your education progresses, she will step back to allow you to be independent and facilitate the independent practice of nursing as a professional.

In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and being active. Becki enjoys gardening, running and playing outside with her daughter.
