Biography

I have 20+ years of experience working 911 and interfacility on ambulance and helicopter. I understand what this field entails from the basic to the critical levels. In my experience on the job, I noticed the skills gap continue to widen and witnessed how some employees would struggle implementing the knowledge they learned in class and translating that to the field. It was this realization that inspired me to teach. My teaching philosophy is that not all students learn by reading a book, and I hope to capture all types of learners. I also have an open-door policy; I believe feedback is necessary to ensure that you are learning in a manner that works for you.
