Amber Popplewell
Distinguished Alumni
Superior

Amber is a 2013 graduate of the Human Services Program at Superior. The program encouraged her to seek out community engagement, which initially led her to CASDA (Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse). Her volunteer work there turned into a career by graduation—she was hired as Shelter Case Manager and then moved to Sexual Assault Program Coordinator, both positions that enabled her to pursue her passion for helping others.
Currently, she works as the Deputy Clerk of Court with Douglas County, where she is exploring ways to influence lives in new ways and effect change from a different perspective. Her background in Human Services and her experience allows her the time to dedicate herself on a new level to the Superior community.
