Transfer students who have earned their associate degree from Northwood Technical College, and enroll in a bachelor's degree program within our William R. Kellett School, are eligible for a 20% tuition discount.
Northwood Tech students transferring with an associate degree will receive credit for all coursework in their degree program and have the opportunity to earn credit for current or future work based projects. Lakeland offers initiative and flexible education for working adults. The computer science major enables students to position themselves “inside” the already-accomplished computer revolution. Majors are presented with a practical background in programming and data management, as well as the skills that will allow them to devise and implement computer solutions to real-world problems. At the upper levels of coursework, students use electives to guide and focus their own studies, preparing themselves for careers in applications programming, information technology and systems management.
