Students are able to transfer 37 Human Services Associate courses toward the B.S./B.A Social Work major, Human and Social Services minor (general education, major and minor requirements), with the opportunity to transfer up to 22 additional credits. To be eligible for transfer, students must meet the following criteria: Successfully have earned the Associate of Applied Science degree in Human Services Associate with a grade point of 2.0 or better, have applied to and are successfully admitted into UW-W and have declared the Social Work major and Human and Social Services minor at the time of admission/transfer to UW-W.
The Social Work degree conferred by UW-Whitewater (UW-W) requires a licensure for employment. Students interested in this transfer degree should contact the UW-W program dean or the appropriate board to verify licensing requirements.
