Biography

I’m excited about the variety of opportunities Northwood Tech offers for students to continuously learn and grow.  My goal is to advocate for students and faculty in teaching and learning, whether in the classroom, community, or workforce. My professional experiences as a K-12 teacher and administrator have involved connecting students to post-secondary education and supporting students with unique learning needs. 

My goal is to ensure every student at Northwood Tech finds an instructor, mentor or peer in the college that will help accomplish their educational and life goals. To this end, I work with faculty and staff to strengthen the current system of student advising. Prior to my role at Northwood Tech, I served as a special education teacher and director of student services in both rural and urban school districts in Alaska and Wisconsin.
