Biography
I started with Northwood Technical College in 2008 as an adjunct instructor in Traffic Safety teaching court-mandated classes. In 2014, I was hired full time as a Career Development Facilitator in manufacturing programs utilizing years of experience as a machinist. Next, I served as Project Manager in Continuing Education. In this role that I became involved in registered apprenticeship programs at the college, leading to my current position as Director, Apprenticeship and Academies. I oversee the daily operations of apprenticeship programs and supervision of faculty. I represent the college on youth apprenticeship consortiums throughout our district, collaboratively working to create a bridge between youth and registered apprenticeship.
Additionally, I'm part of the Career Prep team at the college, where I oversee high school academies and credentialing. A recent addition to my role has been overseeing the daily operations of the Hospitality Foundations program at our four main campuses.
At Northwood Technical College, I get the privilege of supporting students, faculty and our external partners.
