Biography
I joined Northwood Technical College in 2011 and have had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles. Currently, I serve as the Dean of Business, IT, and Family and Consumer Services. In this role, I provide strategic leadership and supervision to associate deans, faculty, and academic staff across multiple program areas. My responsibilities include overseeing program development and evaluation, faculty hiring and onboarding, budget management, accreditation, and alignment with state and college initiatives. I also represent the college at state-wide meetings and lead efforts related to articulation agreements, dual credit, and credit for prior learning.
I remain deeply committed to student-centered learning, recruitment, and retention initiatives. Supporting new faculty members and fostering a collaborative academic environment are also key aspects of my work.
Before stepping into my current role, I served as an Associate Dean and previously as Program Director and Instructor of the Dental Assistant program. It was an honor to be part of that program’s inception and see it grow into a fully accredited and thriving offering which continues to be one of my proudest achievements. Prior to joining Northwood Technical College, I worked as a full-time Certified Dental Assistant and Adjunct Instructor.
I am passionate about promoting student success, supporting faculty, and contributing to the college through leadership, collaboration, and innovation.
