Biography

I am a lifelong learner who is passionate about helping others achieve their personal, academic, and professional goals. I believe everyone is capable of success when given appropriate choices, support, resources, and encouragement. 

Before taking on my current role at Northwood Technical College, I had the opportunity to teach Adult Basic Education at the Douglas County jail and to support our campus students as a Writing Lab tutor. My previous roles outside of the college include instructor of both Writing and English as a Second Language for 10 years and Associate Director of the Writing Center at the University of Wisconsin- Superior. 

Away from work, I enjoy being with my family, traveling, learning languages, training Jiu jitsu, and developing new skills.
