Biography
As Associate Dean, I work closely with faculty to help students achieve their academic and professional goals. I'm particularly passionate about applied learning experiences that enable students to make transformative impacts in their communities while developing professional skills.
My background includes over 15 years in higher education, having taught at institutions including Tarrant County College and the University of Texas at Arlington, where I completed my PhD in Urban Planning and Public Policy. Most recently, I served as the Director of the Center for Rural Communities and Assistant Professor of Sustainable Community Development at Northland College.
My experience extends beyond academia, having worked as a nonprofit manager, community planner in the public sector, and Research Fellow where I led evaluation efforts for regional innovation and economic development projects.
When not on campus, I enjoy gardening, spending time with family, and participating in community theater productions.
