Biography

With 15 years of experience in medical coding and five years of experience managing a coding department at a critical access hospital, I am a seasoned healthcare professional with a bachelor’s degree in both Health Information Management and Computer Science from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth MN. I am dedicated to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of medical coding practices, adhering to industry standards and guidelines. My expertise enables me to effectively teach future health information and medical coding students.

Beyond my professional pursuit, I find joy in the changing seasons. As spring arrives, I love to tend to my garden. Sunny summer days are filled with water-related activities. When fall arrives, I enjoy hiking and preserving the harvest from my garden. When the cold Wisconsin winter begins, I try to stay content indoors with cooking and baking for my family, reading, and playing card games.
