Hands-On Skills Day allows high school students, grades 9-12, to experience the utility construction industry and be introduced to utility construction trades. Exhibiting areas are underground utility locating, electric and telecommunications line work, mini excavator operation, horizontal directional drilling, backhoes, drop plows, fiber optic splicing, truck driving, job site safety, heavy equipment simulators, engineering, and more.
