Raise the Steaks: Perfecting Injection Sites for Better Meat Quality
Learn how to give effective, properly placed injections with hands-on instruction and a bovine injection simulator.
Participants will learn to:
- Read and interpret drug labels
- Understand needle anatomy
- Determine correct routes of administration
- Identify proper injection sites to protect animal health and carcass quality
FFA and 4-H beef and dairy project members ages 14 and older are encouraged to attend; students under 14 must register and attend with a parent.
