This agreement provides the opportunity for Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) graduates in the Early Childhood Education students to be awarded up to 15-18 general education credits and up to 41 occupational course credits toward the Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science: Child Life and Family Studies Option. Upon transfer, students will have between 62-70 credits remaining to complete the Bachelor of Science degree. Please work with UWSP if courses have not been completed within the last 5 years as the courses need to be assessed on an individual basis.
The Family and Consumer Sciences: Child Life & Family Studies option degree conferred by UW-Stevens Point (UWSP) requires a licensure for employment. Students interested in this transfer degree should contact the UWSP program dean or the appropriate board to verify licensing requirements.
