U.S. Army Reserve Veteran.

Kayla served in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Combat Medic. Her service taught her initiative – “if you want it, you have to go get it.” Her time in the service also instilled a sense of ambition, leadership, and dedication to everything she sets her mind to.

Elevating Education.

Kayla is currently enrolled in the Northwood Technical College Associate Degree of Nursing program, where she intends to continue on toward her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then aspires to obtain a master’s degree and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.

Finding Flexibility.

One of Kayla’s favorite things about attending Northwood Technical College is flexibility. She appreciates the moderate class sizes, the attentive and organized instructors, and the comfortable atmosphere of the Rice Lake campus.

Surpassing Satisfactory.

Despite two degrees and doubtless countless opportunities, Kayla is on a long-term mission to licensure as a Nurse Practitioner. With her foundation in the Army Reserve and previous education, Northwood Technical College is proud and excited for the opportunity to assist her as she moves toward her goal.
