Eligible Northwood Tech technical diploma or associate degree graduates may transfer up to 60 credits to UW-Stout’s B.S. Individualized Studies program. An additional 60 credits (or more) will be required to complete the 120-credit bachelor’s degree. 

As some associate degrees are more than 60 credits, full applicability of credits will be determined upon admission to UW-Stout in collaboration with the program direction of the B.S. Individualized Studies program. The B.S. degree is available 100% online.

Eligible Northwood Tech Nursing - Associate Degree graduates who hold an unencumbered RN license in the U.S. may transfer 70 credits to Concordia University Wisconsin RN to BSN Completion Program. A minimum of 50 credits remain to complete the 120 credits bachelor's degree. The RN to BSN Completion program is offered in an accelerated online format.

The Nursing degree conferred by Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) requires a licensure for employment. Students interested in this transfer degree should contact the CUW program dean or the appropriate board to verify licensing requirements.

Eligible Northwood Tech graduates may transfer up to 70 credits to the UW-Whitewater B.S. Health and Leadership Studies program. A minimum of 50 additional credits will be required to complete the 120-credit bachelor’s degree. Please work directly with the UW-Whitewater Transfer Office to verify the exact credit totals that will transfer and to develop a plan for B.S. degree completion. The B.S. degree is available either on campus or 100% online.

Eligible Northwood Tech Nursing – Associate Degree graduates who hold an unrestricted RN license from at least one state; eligibility for licensure in Minnesota and a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 or higher may transfer up to 70 credits to The College of St. Scholastica’s (CSS) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN0 program. At minimum, an additional 50 credits will be required to complete the 120-credit bachelor’s degree. Prospective students are encouraged to contact a CSS Admission Counselor to determine credits remaining upon transfer. The BSN program is available Online. 

The BSN degree conferred by The College of St. Scholastica requires a licensure for employment. Students interested in this transfer degree should contact The College of St. Scholastica program dean or the appropriate board to verify licensing requirements.

Eligible Northwood Tech Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) graduate can transfer up to 60 credits to the UW-Eau Claire Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies major. A minimum of 60 additional credits will be required to complete this bachelor’s degree.

Eligible Northwood Technical College associate degree program graduates may transfer up to 70 credits into one of University of Maryland Global Campus bachelor degree programs. Eligible Northwood Technical College students, employees, and their spouses and dependents qualify for a waiver of the application fee and a discount of up to 25 percent on out-of-state tuition for non-specialty programs.
