Eligible Northwood Tech Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) graduate can transfer up to 60 credits to the UW-Eau Claire Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies major. A minimum of 60 additional credits will be required to complete this bachelor’s degree.

The Northwest Nursing Alliance is an agreement between UW-Eau Claire and Northwood Tech to facilitate the entry of overflow UWEC students into the Nursing - Associate Degree program at the Northwood Tech Rice Lake or New Richmond campus. Four students will be admitted to start each fall at both campuses, and eight students will be admitted to start each spring at both campuses. Students may concurrently take classes at UWEC to fulfill their liberal education requirements for a BSN degree. 

The Nursing degree conferred by UW-Eau Claire (UW-EC) requires a licensure for employment. Students interested in this transfer degree should contact the UW-EC program dean or the appropriate board to verify licensing requirements.

The RN to BSN program, called the University of Wisconsin BSN@Home program, is for Registered Nurses who already have an associate's degree or diploma in nursing and wish to earn the bachelor of science in nursing degree. The curriculum is designed for working adults. Almost all required coursework is completed online.

The Social Work undergraduate program is focused on preparing students as ethical, competent, evidence-informed social work generalists. This means that students are prepared for undergraduate level licensure to enter the workforce in areas from mental health to alcohol or drug abuse, or from gerontology to child welfare.
