Short Description of Transfer Agreement
The Northwest Nursing Alliance is an agreement between UW-Eau Claire and Northwood Tech to facilitate the entry of overflow UWEC students into the Nursing - Associate Degree program at the Northwood Tech Rice Lake or New Richmond campus. Four students will be admitted to start each fall at both campuses, and eight students will be admitted to start each spring at both campuses. Students may concurrently take classes at UWEC to fulfill their liberal education requirements for a BSN degree.
The Nursing degree conferred by UW-Eau Claire (UW-EC) requires a licensure for employment. Students interested in this transfer degree should contact the UW-EC program dean or the appropriate board to verify licensing requirements.
