"My philosophy is to blend real-world experience with classroom learning. For example, students in our insurance class learn about insurance in the classroom and then try and sell a policy to an insurance agent that I bring into class as a customer. This blends classroom learning with real world application and is a great learning experience for the students."

Biography

Previously, Hugh Harris was a controller for a Fortune 500 company managing the accounting and finance departments. He was also a financial analyst for the State of Texas and General Electric Corporation.

Hugh enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
